Vascular surgery is related to vein and artery conditions. Some common procedures include endovascular repair for an abdominal aortic aneurysm (EVAR), open repair surgery for an abdominal aortic aneurysm, varicose vein ligation, and bypass surgery for peripheral artery disease such as femoral-tibial bypass surgery or femoropopliteal bypass surgery. Please note, not all Interior Health hospitals are equipped to provide all types of vascular procedures; discuss with your physician for more information. Learn more about surgery in Interior Health.
