Interior Health’s former website was limiting in functionality and at end-of-life. It was necessary to implement a modern and interactive resource and the new website is designed with patients, family members, job-seekers and the public in mind, and profiles IH people and communities.

New features have been designed to enhance use experience, including the “information for” quick links tab, the ability to search services and locations and easy access to alerts.
Many have been involved in developing and bringing this new website to life– and key to the project have been the people who use the site most: public and partner representatives. Their input during public engagement activities over the past year has guided how the site is organized and how it functions.
Look for the “Stay Connected” banner at the bottom of each page. Here you can choose which type of information you’d like to receive from us – stories, alerts, news, or COVID-19 updates.

It will take some time for Google’s search engine to crawl the new site to support your bookmarks and finding IH webpages on the new site through Google.
Yes, when you search for a service or location, you can either enter the location you are searching in, or if you click on the prompt to accept cookies, the website will be able to detect your location and provide you with locations within a certain radius.
There are more than 1,900 doctors practicing in our region. Most do not work for Interior Health, but are an essential part of health-care delivery. The College of Physicians and Surgeons of B.C. maintains information about doctors in B.C. in the province. To look up information about doctors, visit their registrant directory.
Yes, visit the Covid-19 content hub on this website for all of the latest information regarding safety, protocols and news updates within the Interior Health region.
Yes you can explore IH careers in the corporate, administration and support fields, for medical staff and also for students. You can apply by creating a job profile by clicking on the button on the top left side of the screen.
