Requisition
Cytology testing can be requested by using the Cytology Consultation Request form and is not orderable through the hospital computer system. Refer to the job aid Completing a Cytology Consultation Request Form Job Aid for further instructions on completing the form.
Booking fine needle aspirate biopsies
- Patients with superficial/palpable lesions, complete the Laboratory Fine Needle Aspirate form
- Only available at Kelowna General Hospital site
- Patients with non-palpable lesions, biopsies can be booked by using the Medical Imaging form
