Assesses patients in the sleep disorders clinic and performs overnight studies in a sleep laboratory. In the initial evaluation, the patient is given a physical examination and a consultation with a physician specially trained in sleep disorders medicine. After the initial evaluation and depending on the disorder, the patient may begin treatment immediately or you may be booked for an overnight sleep study. The program is also involved in a variety of research activities concerning the cause, consequences and therapy of sleep disorders.
